Billy Shepherd (real name Peter Jones) as “Special Features Editor”, was a major contributor to the Monthly Book, contributing pieces including “A Tale of Four Beatles”, “The Beatles in Paris” and many others. This book contains the Beatles’ story as told to him by the Beatles themselves.
With 32 pages of photos by Leslie Bryce and others plus illustrations by Bob Gibson, the Beatles Monthly artist. Published by Beat Books (Beat Publications Ltd) in U.K. and Bantam in USA (1964) as well as several foreign language editions.
