Sterling Silver Medallion – by Modern Metals
The medallion advertised with Issue 32. Has the Beatles’ faces on one side and signatures with “1965 – 1966” on the other. Made by Modern Metals, measures 40 mm. Came in a hard plastic case or a red wallet (some found with “1966 – 1967” have slight differences and measure 35 mm are likely from Japan)
The 1966-67 coin can also be found on a chain. I don’t think the 1965-66 version was ever supplied this way. Although the leaflet shows one on a chain, there is no option for it on the application. I think this just a suggestion; that you could have one pierced and put on a necklace or bracelet.
