Project Description
BEATLES MONTHLY ISSUE 76

A report by Mal Evans on John and Yoko’s Toronto show and looking back to the Beatles’ last live performances in 1966, as the band have become more fragmented, coming together for recording purposes. A look at the various elements of Apple and how the Beatles themselves are involved in the various parts.

Centre: John and Yoko with Klaus Voorman, Alan White and Eric Clapton in Toronto.
Meanwhile…
In November John & Yoko’s Wedding Album is released in the U.K. and John returns his MBE to the Queen, saying “I am returning my MBE as a protest against Britain’s involvement in the Nigeria-Biafra thing, against our support of America in Vietnam and against ‘Cold Turkey’ slipping down the charts”. Ringo begins recordings for his debut Sentimental Journey LP.

Not easy to identify a reprint here… print quality, paper, ink colours are pretty much identical. If you look on the back cover, bottom left, John’s collar is nearer the bottom edge on a reprint.
