Project Description

BEATLES MONTHLY ISSUE 56

Original Insert in Issue 56

This month there is a report by Mal about George’s recent visit to India, working on music for the film Wonderwall. Frederick James writes about the current Beatles catalogue and how some of the singles are no longer available and asks the question: how valuable will the early Beatles singles be in, say, 25 years time? “Behind the Spotlight” looks back to March ‘66. There is a feature about George, “Record Producer”, in the studio with the Remo Four. And there’s some of Bob Gibson’s drawings.

This issue contained an application (picture 3) for the set of Richard Avedon posters, which were also advertised via other outlets in the U.K. and overseas. See further information in the “Extras” section.
