BEATLES MONTHLY ISSUE 51
This month, we finally visit John at his Weybridge home. There is printed a selection of newspaper tributes to Brian Epstein who had died at the end of August. “Behind the Spotlight” is in October 65, when the Beatles attended Buckingham Palace to receive their MBEs. Neil has a piece on George and Patti’s trip to California in August.

Meanwhile…
In October 1967 the Beatles are recording and filming Magical Mystery Tour. They attend a memorial service for Brian Epstein at the New London Synagogue in Abbey Road, London and they all attend the Premiere of How I Won The War at the London Pavilion.

The covers aren’t giving much away, but open the book to page 3. Originally edited out, (presumably Johnny thought it took the focus off George’s guitar) but the reprint shows George was wearing his “Stamp Out The Beatles” shirt.
