Project Description
BEATLES MONTHLY ISSUE 42

This month’s “Beatles Talk” is more press conference Q&As, transcribed by Frederick James. There’s a visit to George at home in Esher. “Behind the Spotlight” returns to January 65 as they finished the Christmas shows at Hammersmith, and Mal Evans has a page to himself, reporting on his Kenyan safari trip with Paul.

Meanwhile…
In January much studio time is taken up with recording and mixing Strawberry Fields, A Day In The Life, Penny Lane and others. Joe Orton is drafted in to begin writing a script for the Beatles’ third film, Up Against it.
Reprints
No easy differences to spot, although the cover colour should be red, not orange. Some reprints are cut so close the right edge that text is cut off, as the price is on this one.
