A Collection Of Beatles Oldies is released and is the first Beatles LP not to reach number 1. Paul McCartney attends the premier of A Family Way, for which he and George Martin provided the soundtrack. Meanwhile, the band spend time in the studio, recording and mixing Strawberry Fields Forever and others.
Reprints
Reprints are not easy to spot. On the back cover, the alignment of Issue number and date have been moved to the left on a reprint. Inside, on page 6 the “Beatles Talk” heading should start above “P” in Press.
