Another of Frederick James’ “Beatle Talk” episodes, featuring George and Ringo this month. Recording Engineer Norman Smith is interviewed about his involvement with the Beatles’ sound, another episode of “Behind the Spotlight”, and photos of filming in Austria.

They start May with three days filming scenes for Help! on Salisbury Plain. They have no live engagements, but do attend Bob Dylan’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall.

Reprints
The reprint from 1978 is fairly easy to spot. Looking at the front cover photo on the original book you will see the tops of the three Beatles’ heads are in a fairly horizontal line. On a reprint they slope downwards from right to left. Obvious when you see them side by side.
