BEATLES MONTHLY ISSUE 15

This month, a feature on “A Cellarful of Noise”, by Brian Epstein. Frederick James continues his interviews, this time with John. Billy Shepherd makes notes from a typical Beatles’ recording session and the series “Behind the Spotlight” continues. There is a report on the second American tour.

A few early copies include some additional blue stars across pages 10 & 11. The photos were badly arranged, so the stars were used to fill the space. Later copies were corrected, and the stars removed. The “stars” version is a little less common.

Meanwhile…

Most of October is spent touring the U.K. and in the studio, recording tracks for the for the Beatles For Sale LP.

Reprints

There are no significant differences between originals and reprints that I have found, although if the book has the blue stars it will be original.

Otherwise, if you have the book in your hands check for paper quality, loose staples and the smell of new ink.
