Beatles Book Special (Japan)
This Special Edition was produced for the Japanese market around December 1965. It is large format, based on the U.K. Christmas Special of the same year, but as Christmas was not a particularly significant event in Japan it was given a different, glossy cover.
A few of the photos inside have been replaced, either with similar or entirely different shots and some are unique to this Japanese edition. Not easy to find outside Japan.
And in the 1980s it was reprinted with Japanese text.
