The first of two “Christmas Extra” editions, this for 1965. 64 pages, in large format (270 mm x 210 mm). Contains photos in colour and black and white, most of which hadn’t appeared in the monthly issues, as well as a letters page and a feature on the Beatles’ songs. Each of the Beatles has a page to himself, looking back to the past year and forward to 1966. A variation of this was printed just for sale in Japan the same year (see under “OVERSEAS”).
